Hi. We're just trying to bring drivers together. Communication is the key to understanding!
Hopefully this section answers all your questions. If not, feel free to contact us.
You can also check out the How To page for the Do's and Don'ts of Driver Talk.
What's this all about?
Have you ever needed to reach the owner/driver of a car that is parked but the person is nowhere to be found?
Driver Talk to the rescue! You can now send a message to the owner of the car by specifying their license plate number.
Why would I care about receiving messages about my car?
Here are a few examples:
Someone witnessed your car getting damaged.
You're about to get towed for parking illegally (wouldn't you like to know sooner than later?)
It started raining and someone noticed your sunroof/windows are open.
You're wondering when someone will be able to unplug and move their EV, so that you can charge up.
You want to know where someone had their car customized.
We're sure there are many other good reasons.
What if license plate number I've entered is not found?
Sorry, there's not much we can do about that. Driver needs to register with Driver Talk in order to receive messages.
We encourage everyone to register, and as our database of registered users grows, this messaging platform will become invaluable.
I'm a registered user. How do I specify my car's license plate number?
How do I indicate whether I want to be contacted via email or SMS?
There is a message preference that you set for every vehicle you add under your account. You can select either email, SMS or both.
So you can have different message preferences for different vehicles.
I'm getting harassed/bombarded with messages by someone. This is getting really annoying.
That's quite unfortunate. Please contact us here to report any abuse, and we'll take immediate measures.
Abuse of the system, harassment, offensive messages will not be tolerated, and will likely result in banishment.
Why would I want to share my email address or phone number with anyone who sees my car?
Have no fear, we will never expose your name, email address or phone number publicly. Your information is securely stored in our database, and the only way someone can
contact you via Driver Talk is by using your license plate number(s).
I still have questions (or suggestions). How do I bother you?
